Tom Heinhorst Accredited Farm Manager, Accredited Rural Appraiser

Tom has published several articles on South American soybean production, and manages over 10,000 acres in central Illinois. He operates 725 acres of farmland in Mason County, Illinois and is a licensed real estate broker.

Brian Waibel Accredited Farm Manager

Brian graduated from the University of Illinois College of Agriculture in 1986. He is an Accredited Farm Manager (AFM), real estate broker, and is licensed as a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. Brian operates a small farm with his father and brother near Forest, Illinois.

Tom started his career in farm management in 1995 after graduating from the University of Illinois. Tom has worked the past 11 years for a national seed company and has recently joined Busey as a farm manager.

Randal Fransen Accredited Farm Manager

Randal received Accredited Farm Manager status in 1992 from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. He also is a licensed sales representative with Busey Farm Brokerage.

Dean Kyburz Farm Manager, Licensed General Appraiser Department Head for Ag Services

Dean brought with him personal experience from his family's dairy farm. He has over 30 years of appraisal experience and obtained his Certified General Appraiser's license from the state of Illinois. Dean also is a licensed real estate broker and a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.

Mark has been managing farms since he graduated from the University of Illinois in 1977. He is an Accredited Farm Manager and is a licensed real estate broker.

Steve Myers Accredited Farm Manager, Certified Crop Advisor

Steve was raised on a grain and livestock farm in Western Illinois and graduated from Illinois State University in 1986. He is a monthly columnist for Prairie Farmer Magazine in the Profit Planners section and serves on numerous boards, including the ISU Ag Alumni, Illinois CCA Board and Monsanto’s Farm Manager Council. Steve is a farm owner, absentee landlord and is active in on-farm research programs. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson with Busey Farm Brokerage.

Tom was born and raised on a grain and livestock farm in Bureau County, Illinois and graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1970. He began his farm management career with Busey in 1982 and has served and chaired many Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraiser committees. Tom also holds his Real Estate Salesperson license.
